NRedington is the fictional village in mid Norfolk.
The first story was written with People's Friend in mind, but it was published eventually on Creative Frontiers, as were all of the stories.
Now I am in the stages of checking over the proof of the paperback version, and hopefully it should be on sale around Christmas or just after.
The nine stories in there were published as seperate serials, but the same characters appear in some of the stories.
Betty owns the bread shop Ivy is a little lady who has bright ideas, and loves getting involved
Raymond is the village postman, and is in love with Betty Colin Tandy is a local carpenter, retired now, but likes to keep up with village news and gossip.
Now this has been published as a pocket novel - Country Matters, and Maggie Swinburne at My Weekly Pocket Novels has also bought a follow up story, Another Year in Redington, also called Country Matters. These country stories are becoming a bit of a habit.
